The New Mighty China

The dragon has awakened from her long slumber. After decades of isolation, China opens itself to the world. In the process, she is displaying her economic might and also her vast array of weaponry.

"One official said the new submarine was a "technical surprise" to U.S. intelligence, which was unaware that Beijing was building a new non-nuclear powered attack submarine. U.S. intelligence agencies have few details about the new submarine but believe it is diesel-powered rather than nuclear-powered, said officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity."

China now even has the cheek to interfere in foreign nation's affair. Sri Lanka, of all places. After all what the world can say, considering China's economic might.

"The cost of the port is estimated at $ 1 billion. It was in March 2007 that Sri Lanka and China came into agreement to build the port. Because of the agreement between the two countries, China has given Sri Lanka all the aid, arms and diplomatic support it needs to defeat the Tigers, without worrying about the West."
